PLC World premier at a sell-out RAH
A brand new piece from the pen of Paul Lovatt-Cooper was received with critical acclaim at a sell out concert at London's most famous concert hall - The Royal Albert Hall.

The piece entitled "Fire in the Blood" was composed for the International Staff Band of the Salvation Army. The concert was part of a weekend long festival to mark the 120th anniversary of the Salvation Army's most famous brass band. The 'ISB' were joined in the concert by several other staff bands from all over the world including the Chicago, New York, Canadian, Japanese and Melbourne Staff Bands.

As well as "Fire in the Blood" two other works by PLC were performed - the ever popular concert opener "Where Eagles Sing" and his "Donegal Bay" which the massed bands sang with lyrics composed by Rob Little entitled "My Simple Prayer".

Commenting on the occasion, Paul said "The concert was a tremendous experience and I was thrilled with the ovation my music received."

Fire in the Blood' will be available to purchase for bands to perform it in December 2011.
